Cheetah Cheater....

I love a good anorak.

This Toga number from Opening Ceremony has been on my mind for some time now.

However at $900 (now $500-ish on sale) my mind is where it had to stay.

That is until I spied this little number on ebay last week....

It was just sitting there, minding its own business - not a bid in sight.

A mere few days of waiting for the auction to end and $15.00 later, its on its way to my doorstep.

Perfect for prowling around on rainy days.

Freak on a Leash....

Also previously mentioned, I have a show this week, a feisty little number to Korn's 'Freak on a Leash'.

I've had my costume planned for ages....

Cut Out EVIL TWIN Body Suit (Which I embellished with studs)

Cropped PVC Bustier with Lace-Up Back (Don't ask me why the pic is on it's side)

However a little dress rehearsal quickly revealed that this costume...errr, quickly revealed.

.

The high cut leg combined with vigourous activity had it wandering to places I prefer it wouldn't.

.

I now have a handful of days to find a replacement....

.

But on the plus side - The awesome studded bodysuit and the rad PVC bustier are new additions to my wardrobe.

.

Can't wait to wear that bustier over a slouchy white tee.....

Interesting observation - I'm sporting MINKPINK leggings, which cost a lot less than these Shakuhachi pants I stumbled across on mycatwalk.com.

Heavy Cross....

Bought these two lovlies from U-Tech the other day.

The chunky black cross is gracing my neck right now.

.

Actually just saw a pic in Famous of Jess from The Veronicas sporting one just like it (I always end up dressed like a Veronica - not a bad thing really).

The other is a silver chicken bone.

.

Random and a bit creepy yes? Exactly what motivated me to purchase....

This crusty cross was a gift from Jodes (aka Platinum Evil) a year or so ago.

.

She scored 2 of them at some random stall and I desperately tried to make them earrings.

.

Heart-breakingly their sheer weight nearly dragged my earlobes to my shoulders.

.

Undeterred, I went the more conventional route and threw it on a chain.

.

I wear it religiously (pun most definately intended).

Its an ampersand......

For anyone who said "what's an ampersand?" (beleive me there's been many) its the symbol used in place of the word "and".

If you hit "shift" and "7" simultaneously on your keyboard that's what I'm talking about.

For those of you who don't know, I'm a twin with the amazing Jodes from Platinum Evil.

Being a twin you're constantly connected by an and - "Sarah AND Jodie" or "Jodie AND Sarah".

.

We thought it would be a good idea to be connected by an and not just verbally, but symbolically too.

.

But different designs in different body locations.

.

Identical tattoos on identical twins seemed a bit too creepy for us.

.

I adore it.....my mother however says I look like cheap sl*t.

I say nuts to her.

I found this little gem at my local Salvation Army last weekend.

.

It was originally a bodysuit - the crotch section was chiffon and half ripped from the bodice.

.

I'm more 'destroy' than 'mend' so I decided to rip the rest off - transforming it into a crop top.

.

If you squint the scallopy, sequined mesh-ness bears a slight resemblance to the lovely Ellery piece above. (Apologies for the crappy pic, I took it on my iphone).
