Moving to New Digs....

For anyone still lucking around these parts, I don't live here anymore.
.
Yep, after a massive hiatus I've packed up my things and will be co-habiting my sisters blog.
.
.
We figure two half-assed bloggers might just come close to one decent one
.
See you on the other side....

Ebay Love #2

This vest was love at first sight.
.
Perfection in studs, patches and denim.
.
Thanks random Brit geezer for being silly enough to sell it......

Ebay Love #1

I'm a sucker for a vintage tee.
.
Its a tad religious (unlike me) but it's general crustiness and somewhat-metal vibe won me over.
.
A few neck and sleeve alterations and it'll be good to go.
.
My catholic nana would be proud......

Today's Top Tune - Mariachi El Bronx 'Cellmates'

It's 35 degrees today in Sydney and hot weather demands appropriate hot weather tunes.
.
My fave for a sunny day is Mariachi El Bronx.
.
For those of you who don't know, The Bronx are a hardcore band from L.A.
.
The band's alter-ego is Mariachi El Bronx - Its full blown Mexican mariachi at its best.
.
Check out 'Cell Mates' - Even if only for their adorable light-up Mexican garb.
.
A personal fave is their cover of Prince's 'I Would Die 4 U'
.
I defy you to be down listening to this.......

Bandits and Thieves...

The Summer Tee - American Apparel . Vintage Mens Flannelette Shirt - Bowl-a-rama Vintage at Harajuku Markets
Blank Leather Skinny Moto Pants - Nasty Gal Vintage . Lace -Up Chunky Heels - Shakuhachi

Vintage Suede Studded Bandana - Zoo Emporium, Surry Hills

What I wore the other day.
.
Loving the suede bandanna - it does up with press studs and feels more "Billy the Kid" than my other bandannas.
.
These Shakuhachi heels are a few seasons old but they have a slight "Ann Demeulemeester" vibe and don't kill to wear all day.
.
The leather skinnies are all kinds of awesome.
.
Some say they're too full on for everyday wear.
.
I say nuts to that really.
.
Nuts to that.

Today's Top Tune - Mammal 'Smash the Pinata'

So here's a new thing I'm doing.
.
Seeing I work in music I thought I should get a bit more of it onto the blog.
.
No better band to start with than my favourite - Mammal.
.
'Smash the Pinata' is the first single from their most recent album 'The Majority'
.
Words do not describe how good this band are live - front man Ezekiel Ox (pictured) is a juggernaut
