Its like metallic giraffe print - I'm not usually one for gold and bronze but it's 80's charms stole my heart.

I'm not even going to take the shoulder pads out of it....

Browsing through the pics of Purple Sneakers' 200th night I couldn't help but notice the delightful Ruby Rose (guest djing) wearing a top that looked slightly familiar......

...to one hanging in my wardrobe!

I picked mine up for $3 at the op shop down the road from my boyfriend's place and have worn it heaps, including on Christmas Eve in the shot above (teamed with high waist leather shorts and platform heels).

Must ask Rub's next time I see her where she got hers....

These would look great with an 80's prom dress and chunky platforms......

Bardot Ruched Leg Pleather Pants

Something so wrong about these yet......can't seem to stop thinking they could be a good idea.

Of course I'd prefer leather, but the only styles I come across are either

.

a) Waisted

b) Straight leg; or

c) Low rise and skinny, but ridiculously expensive.

.

In fact I've got a pair of high waist, straight leg leathers I scored many months back at an op shop.

.

Might have to have a look at altering them (translation: nag Jodes to alter for me).

Was flicking through the latest issue of Attitude magazine and spyed this little number.

Makes me think of jack-o-lanterns and paper doillies....which I like.

These peeptoe/wedge/biker boot/heel creations from Wittner are quite honestly THE most fabulous shoes I have laid eyes on in quite some time.

I popped down on my lunch break to see if they met my expectations.....and oh how they did!

They're a little chunkier and more avant-garde than this picture suggests.

I lay-byed them immmediately....c'mon pay day so these lovelies can come out and play.....
