oh i hate that. missing out on stuff that went for cheap is my least favourite feeling ever. I've started setting copious phone alarms for myself to avoid it. I also have ebay on my mobile which helps.
Thanks for the tip on the necklace, now that you mention it it would probably be easy as pie to make up myself.
